Kristin is a native Oregonian who has worked in veterinary medicine since 2013. Originally working with horses professionally until 2005, Kristin switched her focus to small animal medicine after seeing 50 horses safely through Hurricane Katrina in the panhandle of Florida.

After moving back to Oregon, she got a job in emergency medicine and fell in love with the work. Kristin became a certified licensed technician in 2018 and loves it more each year. Her experience covers emergency/ICU care, general practice, surgical assisting, anesthesia, specialty dentistry and I-131 treatment for cats. Now Kristin has finally found the ultimate fulfillment with the level of client and patient care that is synonymous with the Feline Radioiodine Program here at OVSH.

She shares her home with her lovely wife, the best pittie-pup on the planet, 3 handsome cats, fish, shrimp, a leopard gecko and a collection of arachnids.
