Mindy has been a Certified Veterinary Technician for almost 20 years and is originally from Minnesota, where she worked in general practice for 10 years and volunteered as an Animal Humane Agent. She moved to Oregon in 2015 with her husband and daughter. Prior to joining the Feline Radioiodine Center team, she worked in Emergency and Critical Care as an ICU technician and supervisor for 7 years. Mindy has found the next chapter of her career caring for, and helping cure these wonderful kitties with hyperthyroidism. She and her husband (also in the veterinary field) have a love of animals, and have 3 cats, Willow, Wilma and Gertie, all who were adopted as strays, and a rescued Pitbull named Luna. Mindy enjoys time with her family, going to the coast, reading, knitting, puzzles and of course wine tasting.
